STUDIO 65 PARTIES

STUDIO 65 SOCIALS are held at the studio each month. Check the schedule often. You can practice dancing with fellow students and see some other dances you might like to learn. Friends are always welcome. Check to see if the event is "potluck" or if food and/or drink is provided.

WEDDING DANCES AND DJ DANCE SERVICES: We can teach you a special dance for your "first dance" at your wedding. We can also provide music and instruction to make sure any party is a big hit. CALL OR E-MAIL FOR A CONSULTATION

MILONGA is a term for a place or an event where Argentine tango is danced. People who frequently go to milongas are sometimes called milongueros. The music played is mostly tango, with a few vals and milongas mixed in. The term "milonga" can also refer to a musical tango genre(a fast 2/2) . There is usually an introductory lesson before each party to teach the basic tango walk in the "embrace."

Every Sunday in the Main Room with Pete and Carmen. Great music and wonderful dance floor. Big fun crowd with lots of great dancing and a DJ.

CURTAIN CALL is a big show that happens twice each year, usually April and October. Please click on 'Schedule to find the date. It is a recital preformed by students dancing with their teachers, as well as amateur couples. Routines are highly choreographed and the level of dance is very advanced. There is a matinee show, and an evening show which also includes periods of general dancing for the guests to enjoy.
